Keyano College Huskies Athletics today announced Jeremy Corrigal (Île-à-la-Crosse, Sask.) as the Keyano Huskies Esports Performer of the Week for the week ending March 2, 2022.
"Corrigal is the team captain and is a vital part in keeping the team morale up," head Coach Ben Bramly said. "Keeping the team hyped whenever something happens in game is essential to sustaining strong performances throughout each match."
Corrigal led the Huskies to wins against Western Texas A&M and Hardin-Simmons University in College CoD action. He accumulated 121 kills and just 70 deaths throughout the pair of matches.
In a tight match against West Texas A&M, Corrigal helped engineer a reverse sweep on the third map of the game to keep the Huskies in full control of the match.
Slotted into Tier 4 among teams in the West Division, the wins helped the Huskies hold a 2-0 record through the first two of four rounds.
Corrigal is currently in his first year of studies in the Business Administration – Management program at Keyano College. He also currently Team Manager of the Keyano Huskies Men's Volleyball team.
The next two rounds are scheduled to be played Monday night with the Huskies taking on Coffeyville Community College Esports at 7:00 p.m. MT followed by a matchup against Northeastern State University at 8:30 p.m. MT.
