Rigney, Rosnau, Lima, and Silveira recognized on ACAC All-Conference Team
The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) recognized a quartet of Keyano Huskies Wednesday prior to the start of the 2026 ACAC Men’s Volleyball Championship in Red Deer, Alta.
Noah Rigney (Westlock, Alta.), Kai Rosnau (Sherwood Park, Alta.), Rafael Parada Lima (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), and Arthur Silveira (São Paulo, Brazil) were named to the conference’s All-Conference team.
In 56 sets across 16 matches this season at the middle position, Rigney recorded 93 kills, 39 blocks, 24 digs, and three aces for the division-leading Huskies. He reached double-digit kills once this season in a five-set win against The King’s University Eagles.
“Noah has dominated in the middle all season,” Head Coach Keegan Kuhr said. “ It’s great to see his hard work and dedication to his position rewarded.
“We’re very proud and happy for him and everything he has accomplished this year.”
As the Huskies’ setter, Rosnau picked up 560 assists while also contributing 90 digs, 40 kills, 38 aces, and 20 blocks.
“I’m very excited to see Kai receive an ACAC All-Conference award,” Kuhr added. “I believe he is Keyano’s first setter to earn this recognition, which makes it even more special.
“He is an incredible athlete and leader, and I’m proud to see him being recognized for the impact he has on our team.”
Parada Lima continued his assault on ACAC defences this season, racking up 105 kills in 39 sets of action across 11 matches. He also contributed 69 digs, 16 blocks, 13 assists, and 12 aces.
“Rafael being named an ACAC All-Conference team member for the third straight year just shows how hard he works on his game,” Kuhr said. “To stay among the best outsides in the conference year-after-year, he is truly a special player and we’re very lucky to have him in our program.”
Rounding out the quartet was Silveira, who also collected the program’s fourth ACAC Rooke of the Year award.
“We’re very proud of him,” noted Kuhr. “He has been solid for us all year and continues to grow every match.”
The Huskies open their journey at the 2026 ACAC Men’s Volleyball Championship on Thursday, February 26 at 3:00pm against the Ambrose Lions.
