Twelve Keyano Huskies student-athletes recognized as CCAA National Scholar Award recipients

Keyano College Huskies Athletics is proud to recognize 12 Keyano Huskies student-athletes that earned recognition from the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) as National Scholar Award recipients for the 2022-23 academic year.

"I'd like to commend the student-athletes recognized as CCAA National Scholar Awards recipients," said Jonathan Lambert, Director of Athletics & Recreation at Keyano College. "Taking on the responsibility of being a student and an athlete at the post-secondary level is a big challenge and I'm happy to see so many of our student-athletes succeed."

Each of the Huskies six teams that compete in the CCAA and Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) are recognized on the list. McMurrayites Raisa Stokes and Ben Simmons also feature on the list. Women's Soccer student-athlete Khloe Webber earned her recognition while studying at Northwestern Polytechnic.

The CCAA National Scholar Award, presented by Nothers - The Awards Store, recognizes student-athletes who achieve honours standing in academics while competing in intercollegiate athletics. We wish to thank Nothers - The Award Store, the Official Awards Supplier of the CCAA, for enhancing the presentation package that each national scholar will receive.

To be recognized, a student-athlete must achieve honours standing at their institution in the current academic year.
