During Black History Month, Keyano College Huskies Athletics will be celebrating and recognizing the accomplishments of Black student-athletes and staff who have made an impact during their time at Keyano College. Today, the program is recognizing Women's Basketball student-athlete Kika Greenlee.

When Kika Greenlee was on the court during her career in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC), she was a consistent threat to score.

The Minnesota product, who played two seasons with the Huskies and one with the NAIT Ooks, was twice crowned as the scoring champion in the ACAC's North Division and still holds the single-season scoring record for the Women's Basketball Huskies to this day.

Joining the Huskies in the 2014-15 campaign, Greenlee was limited to 12 games, but still managed to post 117 points, 64 rebounds, 23 steals, and 18 assists. With the Huskies rolling to a 12-12 record, good for fourth in the ACAC's North Division, the Huskies earned a spot at the ACAC Women's Basketball Championship, but fell to the eventual champion Lethbridge Kodiaks in their opening match.

Though the Huskies slipped in the standings during the 2015-16 season, Greenlee had a magical season as she scored 478 points to set a single-season record for the Women's Basketball program. She made 30.47 percent of the team's field goals during the regular season, also adding 175 rebounds, 61 steals, and 51 assists.

She was also the lone student-athlete from a non-playoff team to be named to the ACAC North Division All-Conference Team, adding to her accomplishments from the season.

Greenlee would then return to the ACAC in 2017-18 with the Ooks, compiling 381 points, 120 rebounds, 42 steals, and 37 assists. That put her on the ACAC's All-Conference First team again along with another North Division scoring title.

Greenlee then capped off her career in 2018 by being named an All-Canadian by the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association's (CCAA).

With 976 career points, she came just shy of reaching a big milestone like the 1,000 point mark but as one of just two Women's Basketball student-athletes at Keyano College to ever win an ACAC scoring title, Greenlee set a strong standard for offensive success in the program.
