A battle of the top two teams in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference's (ACAC) North Division went the way of the NAIT Ooks, who doubled up the Keyano Huskies Men's Soccer team 4-2 Saturday at Shell Place.

Karl Tronche opened the scoring in favour of the home side in the 17th minute, a lead they'd carry into the halftime break. However, Cristian Lima would equalize the game in the 47th minute to put the Ooks level with their opponents and go ahead on a Matthew Zima goal in the 65th minute.

Lima scored his second of the match in the 69th minute and Zima added his second in the 87th minute, which helped them soften the blow from a late goal by Hafid Arellano in stoppage time.

"The guys have to be tough mentally and make sure that we don't get swayed off our game plan so easily," Head Coach Niels Slotboom said. "It's all about making sure it's a complete performance from the start of the game all the way to the end."

Nicholas Carr from the Huskies and Lima from the Ooks earned Player of the Game honours for their respective sides.

The two sides will face each other in a rematch Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Shell Place.

The final home game of the regular season for the Men's Soccer Huskies, they'll bid farewell to three graduating players in Jordan Khalilifar, Sahil Walia, and Ottys Ondon.
