This year's Golf Tournament has raised a remarkable $55,000 to support Huskies Athletics.
On September 07, 2023, the Huskies hosted presenting sponsor AIRCON and 24 other sponsors, totaling 131 golfers who participated in 18 holes at the Fort McMurray Golf Club.
Chantal Beaver, Keyano College Associate Vice President and tournament Co-chair, said that this year's tournament would not have been possible without the generosity of our sponsors. "I want to thank all the volunteers, supporters, and donors for their continued support. The funds raised will greatly enhance our student-athlete's experience at Keyano College."
Jeremy Wielenga, Manager of Athletics and Co-chair of the Huskies Golf Tournament, added, "On behalf of all the athletes, I thank the participants and sponsors who have come together to support the Huskies. Your contributions will help us to enhance our athletics programming this year and allow our students to reach their full potential in college-level sports."
All funds raised through the tournament will be directed towards supporting the needs of our student-athletes, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed both on and off the court. We hope to see everyone again next year for the 2024 golf tournament.
