Spending two seasons with the Keyano Huskies Women’s Basketball team, Sasha Warmington played a key offensive role.

She began her career in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) with the Concordia Thunder in the 2011-12 season, averaging 10.2 points per game over 10 games. She also added 81 rebounds, 13 steals, 10 assists, and seven blocks.

The 2013-14 season was Warmington’s first of two with the Huskies, where she averaged 14.6 points per game across 10 games of action and also chipped in 97 rebounds, 18 steals, nine assists, and five blocks to her stat line.

Appearing in 12 games during the 2014-15 season, she averaged 12.5 points per game over 12 games, adding 119 rebounds, 28 steals, nine assists, and four blocks.

Overall, Warmington’s three ACAC seasons featured her totaling 398 points in 32 games for an average of 12.44 points per game. She also added 297 rebounds, 59 steals, 28 assists, and 16 blocks.

Despite playing fewer games than her rivals, Warmington preformed well enough to finish in the top 15 for rebounding in the ACAC North Division. During her time with the Thunder, she finished just on the outside of the top 20 block leaders among all players in the conference.

Even more impressive from her career was the fact that all 157 of her field goals came from inside the arc, showcasing her dominance in the tough areas of the court. She accomplished this on 379 attempts for a 41.42 percent success rate from the field, above the average of her team’s shooting during each season.

With the Huskies, she hit 46.5 percent of her shots from the field in 2013-14, which led the entire team.
